Does re-listening to books on audio count? I think I'm on my third re-listen to All Creatures Great and Small by James Herriot. Plus I've done that with Tony Hillerman and Craig Allen Johnson books. Hmmm.

I realized a few years ago that I'm surrounded by roughly two lifetime's worth of books. And that's OK. I'll do my best. I likely will not read "Brothers K," despite a good Russian friend's urgent and repeated recommendation. I will certainly never read Joyce. One of my dearest friends in the world told me I should give "Moby Dick" a second chance, having actually had some life experiences. I probably will. I read and reread a lot of Conrad about seven years ago. I want to read and appreciate more poetry. There is so much about Robinson Jeffers I love but don't fully grasp. I accept that it's all too much. I'm grateful for what I can get.

Thanks for all that you do here, Joel.
